LODGING

We’ve reserved a room block at the Plaza Hotel for guests traveling to Milwaukee for our special day! It is a just a short walk from the venue, full of historic charm, and has great food on-site. If you’d prefer to stay closer to the sights and energy of downtown Milwaukee, we’ve also reserved a room block at the Hilton Garden Inn. Housed in a beautiful historic building, this hotel features a restaurant on the first floor and holds special meaning for us—it’s right across from our first apartment together (the Mackie Building), and just steps from the used bookstore where Morgan worked during law school. However, if neither hotel catches your eye, listed below are lodging options that are unique to Milwaukee and others that are more affordable. If you have any questions about travel or where to stay other than the options listed, feel free to reach out to either the bride or groom. There is a large festival happening the weekend of our wedding, so be sure to book ASAP. We’re so excited to have you in one of our favorite cities!

This hotel is walking distance to the venue for those who prefer not drive or use rideshare/public transportation options!

The Knickerbocker on the Lake

A unique hotel in the middle of all the action of Milwaukee! It boasts one of the Bride's favorite cocktail bars (with live music) on the ground floor! Also in the building is Proof Pizza, which comes highly recommended from the Bride as well! While it is a bit further from the venue than the Plaza or Knickerbocker hotels, walk time to the venue is only 15 minutes, and drive time is less than 5 minutes.

Saint Kate - The Arts Hotel

In a great area with restaurants, bars, and downtown just a short drive away, it's also set in the original Pabst Brewery!

The Brewhouse Inn & Suites

Another hotel that holds one of the Bride's favorite "night out" spots, the Journeyman is in the Historic Third Ward with incredible views of Milwaukee from its rooftop. If you want a hotel that is in the middle of shopping and dining -- this is it!

Kimpton Journeyman Hotel

The Metro is another hotel that holds fantastic dining on the ground floor and is home to a great tiki-themed rooftop! It sits in the center of Downtown Milwaukee and is a 15 minute walk or 5 minute drive from the venue.

Morgan worked here for two years during law school! It is one of the Bride's favorite places -- and it was also her first stop in Milwaukee because she could see it out of her living room window! Both Morgan and Bradley spent a lot of time in the store due to its proximity to their first apartment. We highly recommend stopping in!
