Morgan and Caleb’s paths crossed long before they truly knew each other. In 2000, when Caleb’s mom moved in with his dad, she sold her townhouse to Morgan’s parents—before either of them were even born.
A few years later, Morgan and her brothers were in a playgroup, and one of the boys in it was close friends with Caleb and his brother. Occasionally, Caleb, his brother, and their mom would join the playdates, meaning Morgan and Caleb spent time together as children without ever realizing it.
That same mutual friend has remained close with both families over the years. In 2018, a cruise was organized to celebrate a birthday with the original playgroup, and Caleb’s family was invited as well. Morgan and Caleb even ended up in the same photo, standing side by side while watching Morgan’s brother play in a ping pong tournament - without even knowing it.
In August 2019, thanks once again to that mutual friend, Morgan and Caleb officially met at Target. They clicked right away and began dating on October 5, 2019.
On May 17, 2025, Caleb proposed. After dinner and a stop at the Mall of America, he told Morgan they needed to go to the Normandale Japanese Gardens to help his brother with something. Morgan had a feeling about what was really happening. When they arrived, Caleb led her in front of the waterfall and got down on one knee to ask her to marry him.
Now, Morgan and Caleb are so excited to begin this next chapter and celebrate their wedding surrounded by family and friends.
