The love story began in July 2018 via Twitter, of all places! Morgan was out with friends, soaking in her last few days in Wisconsin, when she came across a silly tweet posted by Dominic and decided to "like" it. Within seconds, Dominic messaged her, and the two exchanged phone numbers before starting their freshman year and preseason at Quincy University. Quickly, they learned they both shared several common interests and had similar family backgrounds that connected them.
On August 4th, 2018, the two met for the very first time and spent the evening hanging out in Morgan's dorm room with new friends (who are still their dearest friends today), several freshmen from the women's volleyball team, women's softball, and the football team.
After spending nearly every moment together (aside from practices, games, and classes of course), Dominic asked Morgan to be his girlfriend on October 3rd, 2018. They spent their four years "partying it up" and supporting each other at their games, even if it meant catching the last few minutes of a game (since their sports were both during the fall season).
After graduating on May 14th, 2022, with their bachelor's degrees, Morgan was accepted into Maryville University's Occupational Therapy Program and planned to move to Saint Louis, Missouri. Dominic accepted a position as a federal police officer, and the two signed a lease on an apartment in the South County area. Little did they know, they would soon welcome the cutest and craziest goldendoodle into their home, named Ranger, who quickly became their "bubba."
Fast forward to July 11th, 2023—Dominic purchased a house in Arnold, Missouri. Both were excited to start a new chapter and loved the idea of having a spacious yard for Ranger to play in. As always, Morgan had all the authority when it came to decorating!
On May 19th, 2024, Dominic proposed to Morgan in their backyard. She was expecting to head to an early lunch to celebrate finishing her graduate school classes at their favorite restaurant, but was pleasantly surprised to see Ranger sitting in the backyard with a bandana that read, "Will you please marry my dad?" The day became even more of a surprise when Morgan arrived at Dominic's parents' house and was immediately shocked to see her family and friends there, waiting to congratulate the couple on their engagement.
Today, we thank God for bringing us together, and we both continuously talk about how lucky we are to have the very best families and friends. We're so excited to celebrate our big day with our loved ones.
11.08.25, we're ready for you!
