Morgan and Nick met in college in 2017. Best man Jordan Johnson recalled meeting Morgan in a freshman year class, where they were partners for a project. When he noticed that Morgan and her two friends had moved in two doors down, he promptly messaged her, asking if his housemates could come over to meet hers. Morgan reluctantly agreed, inviting the boys over. This led to a great friendship between the ladies in 202B and the young men in 200B.
As time went on, Morgan and Nick developed a close friendship and supported each other through difficult times. In December, Nick faced a harsh reality; he had to leave for home for a month-long Christmas break, many miles away from Morgan. He was torn between taking his chances that some other suitor wouldn't swoop in during his absence or summoning the courage to ask Morgan to be his girlfriend. Nick chose the latter, and Morgan graciously decided he was worth keeping around. This marked the beginning of a relationship that has now spanned seven, soon to be eight, years. Their journey has taken them across three cities, thousands of miles, a needy dog, and a few car troubles along the way.
Nick and Morgan got engaged on May 27, 2023, and made a big move to Dallas a couple of months later for their next adventure. They are incredibly grateful for the support of their friends and family, which has helped their relationship flourish.
