Lauren Hale - Maid of Honor
To try and pinpoint the moment I first met Morgan, we’d have to go all the way back to our kindergarten days at Sugar and Spice Daycare. While I don’t remember the exact moment we met, I know our friendship was bonded over juice boxes and duck, duck, goose in that daycare playground. That was the beginning of our, now, 20+ year friendship. She is more than a best friend to me, Morgan is family. From the countless sleepovers, years of soccer games and Ocean City trips, surviving the awkward middle school years, to now maneuvering adulthood, Morgan has been there for me. Now I get to stand by her side as she starts the next chapter of her life, and I couldn’t be more honored.

I met Morgan when I started dating her brother in 2012. The first real bonding experience I remember with Morgan was when we got snowed in together at her parents' house and spent the weekend playing board games. Since then we have been on several family vacations and girls trips together all across the continent - our mutual hobbies of hiking, lounging on the beach, wine sipping, and brew tasting have followed us to Shenandoah, San Diego, Finger Lakes, Outer Banks, Curacao and more. It has been an honor watching Morgan grow into the beautiful, selfless, loving young woman she is today - a nurse, now an Aunt, soon to be a wife, and some day (way in the future, Alan!) a Mom. Ethan brings out the best in her and has been a perfect addition to the family. I'm excited to see their love continue to blossom and to make endless memories as our families grow and experience life together!

Morgan was one of my first friends on this earth. We became close and stayed friends ever since. Only the real ones can survive a friendship this long. I'm so happy to have her in my life, and I'm so happy she finally found the love she always deserved! ❤️ I can't wait to continue my life making fun memories with Morgan and Ethan!! Congratulations to them!

Morgan & I met at work back in 2019. We bonded quickly over a shared love of sass, doggies, & deals. I admire Morgan for how compassionate & caring she is towards everyone around her. Through our multiple trips we have taken and all the time we spend together, we have become super close & I am so happy & proud to call her my friend. I can’t wait to stand by her side on her special day.

Summer 2010. Ethan and I were working at Margaritaville in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. I didn't know him, and he didn't know me. We were three quarters through our shift upstairs, in the 'Tiki' section. Lois, the purple-people-eater-witch was our supervisor. That won't make anybody laugh except for Ethan and I.
Tiki was upstairs and it wasnt ventilated well. We were hot, sweaty, we smelled bad, but most importanly - we were hungry. The lady I was seeing at the time decided to surprise me with homemade buffalo chicken dip. It was a staple and so damn good. I took a few bites and proceeded to make moaning noises. 'Ohhhh my god this is so good'. We've all said that out loud before. Everyone knows what I'm talking about here.
Ethan approached me. I could see it in his eyes how much he was starving. He asked, 'Hey man .... can I have some of that ?'. The selfless guy that I am, I said, 'Of course man, dive in'. And so he did. He loved it. I could tell how much he loved it because of the moaning noises that proceeded to come out of his mouth. 'Ohhhh my god this is so good'. See. We've all said that out loud before. Everyone knows what I'm talking about here.
That started our best friendship. Tons and tons of stories and memories. A 'synopsis' won't do it justice. But, 14 years later and hundreds of miles apart, and I still cherish that best friendship.
