Morgan and Cody met when they were in high school. Morgan was a freshman cheering at one of her first football games and Cody was a senior. Despite the fact that they had mutual friends, including Cody's sister, Morgan and Cody had somehow never managed to cross paths until then. Over the next four years Morgan and Cody would date other people but always found a way to talk to each other throughout that time.

A few months into Morgan's sophomore year of college they decided to give it a shot at a relationship and it turned out to be one the best decisions they ever made. At that time, Cody was living in Murrells Inlet and Morgan was living in Charleston. They now love both of these cities deeply because of the memories associated with where their relationship developed.

After 4 years of dating, Cody proposed to Morgan in Charleston at Colonial Lake. This is the same lake they would go for walks at during sunset every time Cody came to visit Morgan. They had a special area that they considered "their bench" and it was in that spot that Cody got down on one knee and asked Morgan to marry him. Naturally she said YES and cried ugly tears!

In total, Morgan and Cody have been together a little over 6 years now and they have been through so many of life's milestones together. Birthdays, college and law school graduation, owning a dog (which they consider a son), and a soon to be medical school graduation. Life has given them everything imaginable over these 6 years and they have always come out stronger. They are each other's person through and through.
