Ken and I met when we both worked at Paratech Ambulance service. I had just graduated college and was taking a gap year before figuring out I was going to PA school, so decided to become an EMT. I remember the first day I met him. He was training me and I was writing the run report and needed to input his last name. When he told me "Quackenboss", I looked at him and said "No, really though". Little did I know, it would become mine.

After our first year of dating, we were put to the test when I moved to Virginia for PA school. it was definitely a time of uncertainty and we didn't know what was going to happen. For the next 2 years, Ken was my rock, visited often and supported me unconditionally until I was finally able to move back to Wisconsin. Ken was also able to make a job switch to Waunakee for better opportunities.

Fiver years later (6 by the time we finally tie the knot), we have been through long distance, schooling, job changes, house buying and dog parenting. We both have the jobs we've always wanted, a beautiful house, a fur baby we love and now we're ready to enter into a marriage of unconditional love, fun, adventure and whatever else life has to offer.
