Simon and Morgan first "met" at the youth group camp, Passport in Averett, VA during the summer of 2017. Morgan had just graduated high school and Simon was about to be a senior. Both their churches, Winter Park Baptist and First Baptist Mount Airy, were at the camp. Simon was in a small group with Morgan's brother, Kyle. Morgan was in small group with Simon's long time friend, Eli Stroup. Simon and Morgan never really talked much at the camp, but on the last day Morgan asked her mom to take a picture of them together.

Morgan and Simon reconnected in college when they ran into each other on campus (shoutout Katie Houston). Simon was a freshman and Morgan was a sophomore at UNC Chapel Hill. They quickly became good friends. This time was full of study sessions, lake days with friends, a ski trip, and rushing Franklin Street to celebrate UNC beating Duke.

Morgan told Simon she liked him at the end of her sophomore year, and Simon was shocked (classic). They both ended up working at a summer camp named Crooked Creek in Colorado for a month.

It was after this camp that Simon told Morgan that he liked her too!

Simon asked Morgan to be his girlfriend October 4th, 2019! This picture was one of their first dates as a couple to the NC State Fair. Since then, there has been many great times with friends, family, and each other.

During summer breaks of college, Simon and Morgan were in long distance relationship. Morgan loved going to visit Simon and his family in Mount Airy. This is a picture they took at the top of Hanging Rock!

One of our first major trips together with our friends was to Chicago! It was so much fun and the city was awesome. If you need an itinerary we made a fantastic one.

Our wonderful friends also were in Chicago with us!! What we love so much about our relationship is that we always have so much fun and we value friendship with one another and other people!

Morgan's graduated from undergrad at UNC! She also was accepted to the Master of Arts in Teaching program at UNC for the next year while Simon completes his senior year!

During the summer before Simon began his senior year and Morgan began graduate school, they visited Morgan's Grandparents and Uncle Curtis in Washington DC! This is everyone at a Nationals baseball game.

Simon and Morgan enjoy going on their yearly ski trip with their best friends. This is a tradition that will continue forever.

This is Morgan and Simon after completing a half-marathon (13.1 miles). This was a goal they both set out to do, and they accomplished it together! Simon killed it with about a 9 min pace the entire time, Morgan was not as fast (11 min pace). BUT THEY DID IT!

Simon picked the perfect ring!!! We celebrated with our friends at the surprise engagement party Simon (and Katie Houston) planned at Vecino Brewing Company!!

Simon and Morgan graduate together from UNC! We are so excited for this next chapter of our lives. Simon is going to attend Law School at UNC Chapel Hill, and Morgan will be working as a Social Studies Teacher in the fall of 2022. AND WE ARE GETTING MARRIED!!! We cannot wait to celebrate with you!
