EMANUEL:

I met Morgan at a medical school interview in New York City. I can remember sitting across from her at the beginning of the day and marveling at just how stunningly beautiful this person was in front of me! And to top it off... she was wearing a light green pants suit in an election year when HRC was on the ballot. I mean, wow, she was killing it.

Our name tags revealed we were living in similar places, and we started chatting. I walked with her during our tour of the school, made a few excellent jokes, and I don't think either one of us thought much of it. At the end of the day, we were dismissed from our interview, and I was about to call a cab to ride a MegaBus back to Washington DC, when the thought occurred to me, "Ask the beautiful woman you just met who lives right there for a ride, you idiot!" And, I did. She smiled and said, "I was going to ask you the same thing!" And so it goes.
