Who knew the power of a dinosaur party?

After a few years of thanksgiving’s hosted by mutual friends, Danika and Drew, Morgan and Sebastien had heard of each other but never really spoke. Until Danika’s Dinosaur themed Party. Morgan remembers the dino tattoo that Seb had on his forehead, of all places. Seb remembers thinking “I'm absolutely not allowed to hit on Danika’s friend”. That didn’t last long. The next day Morgs received a Friend request from Seb. How Subtle!

Now trying to have self control, she didn’t want to message him first. So she sent an invitation to like her photography page. Seb spent the following 3 days drafting a message, while trying to work out if she only accepted the friend request to get him to like the photography page. Finally he reached out

Since then the two couldn’t stop talking to each other. They went on their first date two days later. A late night dinner date to Grilld. They hit it off and were just so excited to see each other again. If they weren’t at work, they were FaceTiming or messaging, to ridiculous hours of the night

At the time Seb was living in his car (which he was so adamant he wouldn’t mention to her, but caved on the first date) so it became very quickly that Morgan was asking Seb to sleep on an air mattress on the floor of her bedroom. Seb never left after that

Seb fit into the Creek Family quickly even putting up with ABBA playing constantly or the many conversations about Musicals.

Morgs felt at home when meeting Sebs Family. Even with the constant teasing coming from Laurie she feels a part of the family.

Morgan’s learnt more things about aquariums, gardening, and outer space than any normal person should ever have to hear.

Seb knows more about photography (even if it’s got people in it) and now admits he actually enjoys two musicals! It’s a start!

So much has happened in the last 18 months. There’s been highs and lows, tests and triumphs.

But there’s no doubt to either of them, they want to face it all together

After Morgan eagerly waiting, Sebastien got down on one knee on January 24th 2024, in the same spot Morgan's grandparents got engaged!

The two tied the knot shortly after on the 2nd of March 2024 with immediate family and close friends as Mark, Morgan's father was very unwell, passing only a few weeks later. The two were over the moon but always knew there would be a time to celebrate with all their family and friends and that time is now!
