It all began in the spring of 2018 working together at Trillium Brewing Company in Canton, Massachusetts. Morgan and Christopher soon realized they had found someone to laugh with, spend time with, and quickly became close friends. After a few months of working together, Chris made it a priority of asking Morgan out on date after date, to which she finally caved at the suggestion of attending a stand up comedy show in Boston. They never knew a completely forgettable comedy show with an ironically funny comedian would be the start of a loving partnership to last a lifetime.

After dating for a brief amount of time, they decided to take a mostly spontaneous trip to New Orleans for New Years Eve, followed by a road trip to Texas and New Mexico. Despite driving across Texas for 10+ hours on New Years Day in treacherous rain, Chris was insistent that this was the perfect moment for Morgan to try Chick-Fil-A for the first time. After many detours they eventually figured out that in fact all locations were closed due to the holiday. The ability to laugh it off and make the most of their gas station cuisine made them both realize the special relationship that they had found. Memories such as this only helped to accelerate their bond and soon enough the opportunity to move in together presented itself in Providence, Rhode Island.

Many more adventures around New England entailed, including a pet adoption fair in Warwick, Rhode Island. Morgan and Christopher decided to peruse the event on a whim, took one look at Lillie, and couldn’t leave without her. Their beautiful little rescue taught them how to work together under pressure, hide all leather items, and just roll with the punches.

Everything from that point forward just started to feel like home, even simply watching the latest episode of their favorite reality dating show. Lillie quickly outgrew her predicted weight of 30 pounds, and upon reaching more than double that weight, finding a bigger space for her became necessary. Morgan and Christopher always had a great fondness for Maine and ultimately moved to the city of Portland where they had enjoyed many vacations together.

After five years of companionship the two realized life would always be better hand in hand. Christopher popped the big question on January 3rd, 2023 while walking Lillie at Mackworth Island. Though in her sweatpants, Morgan could not have been happier.
