Three years ago, fate had a funny way of bringing two hearts together, at a friend’s wedding of all places. Morgan showed up ready to find her future husband, full of energy, laughter, and maybe a touch of mischief. Jake, on the other hand, was just there to have a good time, no expectations, no plans, just enjoying the celebration. But the universe clearly had other ideas. Somewhere between champagne toasts and party bus singalongs, Morgan spotted a handsome guy and couldn’t help herself. “Man, he’s cute!” she blurted out loud enough for her bridesmaid friends to hear. One of them grinned and said, “That’s Jake, do you want to meet him?” Of course, Morgan did. They met just before walking into the reception, a spark instantly flickering between them. Later that night, after dinner, Jake finally asked her to dance. Under the glow of the reception lights, surrounded by laughter and music, something just clicked, easy, effortless, and real.When the night came to an end, Morgan offered Jake a ride home. And somewhere between a heartfelt goodbye and a shared smile in the driveway, Jake kissed her for the first time. Then, in a move that still makes them both laugh, he realized he’d forgotten his house key… and had to climb through a window to get inside.
