Brother of the bride, 
I could not think of anyone better suited for this role (along with your wife's help of course). Nobody knows me better, and has been with me through it all. You are a wonderfully remarkable person and you never cease to make me laugh and help guide me through life. You are one of the most patient-impatient people I've ever met and you pretty much always hold the power to both upset me and make me feel better like no other person can.   Devin you are truly my best friend and certainly a man of many honors.

As soon as I met you I felt like you were my sister.  we always have something to talk about or something that we want to do together. You are so kind and giving. Wedding Party

What should I wear?

Every time we get invited to a wedding our first question is, what do we wear? Well we don't want you to stress about what to wear so we will provide some reference photos to make getting ready a little bit easier. Also keep in mind there is a high likelihood of mud so try and wear comfortable shoes!

Dress Options

For dresses think florals or bright colors, sun dresses and flowy spring time fabrics. Most importantly be comfortable!

Suit options

For suit options think colors and casual summertime linens, keep it relaxed and comfortable!

Other options

If you don't like dresses or suits anything for spring or summertime that you are comfortable in will work perfectly!

Shoes

For shoes keep in mind comfort is more of a priority and the terrain will most likely be muddy and rocky so you'll want to wear something that you are okay with getting dirty and wont be slippery!

The wedding will be held at our family cabin. This is one of our favorite places to visit because of how peaceful it is here. The town of Murphy is quaint and charming and the people in it are welcoming and friendly. We hope you love it here as much as we do!

A very cute town about 1 hour and a half away from Murphy, it is worth the drive if you have time to see this Bavarian village.

A very cute shopping town if you like walking around and looking at local shops! they also have lots of great restaurants.

Blue Ridge GA

A great place where you can go for a scenic walk and its right in the heart of town!

Murphy River Walk

Has a beautiful lake where you can swim, boat. fish and much more!

Hanging Dog Recreation Area

We’ve never been here but if that is your thing I’ve heard they have a bowling alley! 

Harrah's Cherokee Casino Resort

The only movie theater in town, they show two movies but its only around $5

Henn Theater

A wonderful place to buy local artwork!

Valley River Arts

A bar and grill restaurant with live music!

Chevelle's

Who doesn’t love ice cream! This cute little spot is the place to go if you want to grab a scoop.

The Sweet Tooth 

This is our favorite restaurant because it has a lovely atmosphere, delicious farm to table food and amazingly creative cocktails!

The Crown 

This place offers classes for somewhat forgotten practices like basket weaving, quilting, black smithing and much more. Plus it’s a great place to buy local art and see masters at work! 

John C. Campbell Folk School

If you like beer this is the place to get it. It has a large selection and some pretty great Irish food!
