Once upon a time at Bowling Green State University, two future lovebirds were unknowingly orbiting each other’s worlds. Morgan and Michael had a few classes together as education majors and were both busy living their best Greek life — Morgan as a proud Delta Gamma and Michael repping Alpha Tau Omega. Despite crossing paths on campus (and probably passing each other at the Union one too many times), they didn’t actually talk. Fate, apparently, decided we needed a little more seasoning first.

Fast forward to 2020: diplomas in hand, global pandemic raging... and a little dating app called Hinge ready to change everything. One swipe later, we matched — and the very first message? "Future Falcon Flames?" (Spoiler: yes. Very much yes.)

We had our first date at Grove City Brewery on January 6th, 2021 — nerves, beers, and a lot of laughs included. After a few months of adventures (and one very memorable apple pie/whitewater rafting trip in West Virginia), Michael officially asked Morgan to be his girlfriend on June 30th.

From there, life has been a whirlwind of memories:

Saying "I love you" for the first time overlooking the beaches of Gulf Shores ❤️

Sweating it out at our first concert — an RL Grime EDM rave (truly bonding through bass drops)

Returning to BG to tailgate and pretend we’re still in college

Cheering on the Buckeyes with our friends

Planning birthday surprises — from rooftop igloos to surprise cabin weekends filled with all our favorite people

Today, we live together with our furry (and not-so-furry) babies: Sampson the cat (mommy’s boy) and Zeus the fish (daddy’s obsession).

Both of us teach middle school math — Somehow, our students haven't scared us off from still wanting to have our own kids someday.

On October 8th, 2024, Michael got down on one knee (for real this time) in downtown Columbus — the very spot where he once fake-proposed early in our relationship, just for laughs. This time, it wasn’t a joke. Morgan, out to dinner with her friend Samantha, was completely caught off guard when Michael surprised her with their Adventure Book — a scrapbook we’ve been filling with memories since day one. On the very last page, it read:

"All these adventures have been as boyfriend and girlfriend. These next adventures, I want you as my wife."

And she said YES!
