FAQs

When is the RSVP deadline?

Please RSVP to the Bride & Groom by May 1st, 2024.

What time is the ceremony?

The ceremony will take place at sunrise. The sun is scheduled to rise at 6:20 am. We ask that all guests arrive promptly around 6:00 am as the ceremony will start at 6:10 am.

Is the ceremony indoors or outdoors?

The ceremony will take place outside but under the shelter of the chapel. It is at the top of the mountain, so the ceremony may be chilly due to wind.

How is the cell phone service?

It is very important to note that cell service will be spotty as you drive up the mountain to get to the chapel. Once you reach the chapel, service may go in or out, so please have a plan for directions to and from the chapel.

Will there be food & beverages?

No food or alcoholic beverages are permitted inside the Pretty Place Chapel. Pre-purchased beverages (nonalcoholic) will be allowed during the ceremony with the exception that whomever brings it in, also takes it out.

Will there be a reception?

The Bride & Groom are planning a reception for a later date and time. But…the Bride & Groom would love to request your presence at Sliding Rock Falls at 2 pm following the ceremony. Entrance fee is $5 per person. What you need to bring: -swimsuit -water shoes -towel -camera -celebratory vibes

Will there be an entrance fee?

No. There will be a gate attendant that will confirm that you’re attending the wedding and will guide you to parking from there. There is a designated parking lot that is located right outside of the chapel.

What should I wear?

Please dress in brunch or cocktail attire. It is important to note that the venue is up in the mountains. It may be windy or chilly.

What is the color palette?

The color palette that we have specialized for our day is light blue, rust, and hunter greens.

Am I allowed to take pictures?

Please refrain from taking pictures that will interfere with the photographer, as it will be an unplugged ceremony so we can bask in the moment together. We ask that you please turn off your devices and let our photographer do her job. However, before and after the ceremony, feel free to take as many pictures as you please.
