Daniel and Morgan met online and got to talking about themselves and what they were looking for in a relationship. After enjoying talking to each other they decided to meet in person. Morgan invited Daniel to her young adults group at her church. Unfortunately she didn’t receive word that it was canceled because VBS was going on that night. Daniel suggested that they go up the road to Chick-fil-a. They sat there for 5 hours talking about anything and everything. The next day Daniel invited Morgan to come to Wednesday night church and meet his friends at dinner after. This is when Daniel introduced Morgan to his twin Samuel and his friends (who are now married) Rayni and Nathan. Rayni was a huge help welcoming Morgan into the friend group with a simple question “How do you feel about guns?” (everyone stopped what they were doing and turned to Morgan awaiting her answer). Morgan said she wish she had one and Daniel’s face lit up with so much excitement.

(POV Bride) After enjoying talking with each other for the first time we decided to go on an official first date. I really like Daniel and wanted to make sure it would be something that he said yes to. Daniel asked me if I had any ideas and I did. “‘Would you like to go to the gun range?” Daniel was so excited and of course said yes. Later he told me that he had always told his friends that the gun rage would be the perfect first date. Of course they all told him he would be crazy and that a girl would never go for that. So now he loves telling people “She asked me to the gun range!” On the way back to his house he asked me to be his girlfriend. Of course I said yes! I had to see where this would go.

The next day (after the first date) Rayni asked Morgan to go to church with them the next morning. Daniel just so happened to be playing drums that Sunday as well. Morgan met up with Rayni and decided that they would sit next to Daniel’s parents and sister (who Daniel has not told about Morgan yet). Everyone was so sweet to Morgan and had assumed was a friend of Rayni’s. Before service started Samuel (playing base) nudged Daniel and pointed “Dude, your girlfriend is here.” Daniel was totally surprised and now very nervous but also excited. As service started Morgan was worshiping as everyone else was and looked at Daniel playing drums. God then told Morgan that Daniel was her husband. Morgan was in shock, but also at such peace. She was also overwhelmed and started to tear up. Later that night as Daniel and Morgan were talking. Daniel stopped mid sentence and put his hand out asking for Morgan’s hand. Morgan gave Daniel her hand and twirled her. When Morgan turned around she was in tears. (Before Daniel asked to be girlfriend and boyfriend. Morgan prayed to God for a sign. She asked for the man she’s supposed to be with to twirl her around). She gave Daniel a hug and he asked if she was okay. She proceeded to tell him about the sign she prayed for as well as what god told her this morning during church. Daniel began to cry and sat Morgan down. Daniel then began to pray over the both of them. They were both so happy and at such peace.
