Ribvar and I do not have your typical story. In February of 2019, I was at my friends house playing Call of Duty Mobile. We always played, and as most people know, there are mics, where you can talk to your team mates. Ribvar just so happened to be on my team one day. All night, he teased me about how bad I was at the game, and all we could do was laugh. At first, we just talked on the game, and played the game together for a few weeks. Eventually, we followed one another on Instagram, and began to facetime, and talk every single day. Neither of us really expected to fall for each other as quickly as we did, because neither of us were looking for a relationship at the time. After talking more, and more our curiosity grew. We wanted to know everything about each other. We made plans to see each other that same year, but Covid happened, and delayed everything, forcing us to continue to grow on an emotional level. We both developed very strong feelings, pretty quickly. We began talking to each other families, and friends, and our gaming friendship quickly turned into something more. When we first met each other, I was a very depressed, and lost individual, who really did not know which way my life was heading. He brought happiness back to me, and taught me what it is like to be loved correctly. He encouraged me, and still encourages me each and every day. He sees the best in me, and never has given up, despite how difficult I can be sometimes. In May, of 2020, we finally were able to see each other. As soon as our eyes met, we both knew our emotional connection, was confirmed. We had no doubt that we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together. I had the worst flight ever. I was delayed, my bags were lost, but the second I seen him, none of that even mattered to me anymore. I felt so peaceful, and I knew this was the man God intended me to be with. Our relationship has never been easy. But who's is? Despite whatever comes our way, we always are able to compromise, and work together to solve every issue. I thank God every day, for blessing me with such an amazing man, and I know Ribvar feels the same way. There is not a day that passes, that he does not tell me how thankful he is, God led us to each other. I cant wait to see what the rest of our lives will be like together.
