What should I do if I am unable to attend?
You will be dearly missed! If you can not make it to our wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “decline,” so that we can plan accordingly. If you have already RSVP’d “attending,” but find that you will not be able to make it, please notify the bride or groom. Thank you!
Where is the ceremony and reception being held?
Our wedding ceremony and reception will both be held at Bodock Farms in Burkesville, Kentucky.
Address: 153 Jack Scott Road, Burkesville, KY
What time is the ceremony? When should I be there?
The ceremony will start promptly at four thirty in the afternoon. We request that you arrive approximately thirty minutes prior to allow everyone to be seated before the ceremony begins. The road to the venue will be blocked when the ceremony begins to avoid noise and distractions. The road will be reopened at the conclusion of the ceremony. Thank you for your cooperation.
Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Our wedding ceremony will be held outdoors in a covered chapel. Guests will then move inside to continue the celebration at the reception.
What parking is available at the venue?
Bodock Farms has both gravel and grass driveways and parking available for guests.
What travel accommodations are nearby?
Please see the "Travel" tab listed on our website for nearby lodging accommodations.
We took some fun photos at the reception. How do we share those with the bride and groom?
We love photos! We do ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony, we’d like that time to be unplugged. For the rest of the wedding, we encourage guests to post pictures using our google photos album. See the "Share Our Day" tab for more information.
Feel free to text photos to the bride and groom as well!
What if I did not RSVP by the requested date?
To help us with our planning, we kindly asked that you RSVP by August 1st. If we did not receive your RSVP by that date, we did have to mark you as “unable to attend,” as we needed to provide our vendors with a total guest count in a timely manner. We appreciate your understanding, and hope to celebrate with you after we return from the honeymoon.
