Our Wedding

Morgan &amp; Michael went on their first date in 2017. Over the 2 years following first date they would get together every so often to see a movie or have dinner. In 2019, after not seeing each other for a bit, Morgan invited Michael to come visit her at work where she bartended. From this day forward their relationship started. In 2021, after 2 years together, Morgan &amp; Michael decided to move in together and in 2022 they bought their home in Livonia. In April of 2024, as they celebrate their 5 year anniversary where Michael proposed to Morgan on a dock in Traverse City while watching the sunset.

Our Story

Hope and Morgan have been best friends since they were 6 years old. They initially met in Mrs. Harris's 1st grade classroom at South Meadows Elementary School in Chelsea, MI. They have been best friends ever since! 

Hope loves gardening, creating art, and helping others.

Hannah is Morgan's sister. She is middle of the 3 sisters and a close friend to Morgan. Being close in age Morgan & Hannah were able to attend high school together and lived together for a total of 4 years in adulthood!

Hannah is a gifted artist and loves animals, especially her cats Willow & Magik and her dog Perrin.

Callie is Morgan's oldest sister and a close friend to Morgan. They love to quilt together and participate in a book club together!

Callie is a foodie that loves her career as a Dietician. She is passionate about nutrition and loves crosswords, puzzles, and crafting.

Ilze is one of Morgan's best friends. They initially met in 2014 through a mutual friend and grew close from working together as caregivers at Atria Senior Living. 

Ilze loves being a mother and her career working in real estate. Her fun spirit is known to light up any room!

Dan and Michael have been friends since grade school. Together they enjoy going to Red Wings games and hanging out in Detroit. Dan is also a talented Engineer and boat enthusiast.

Jimmy is Michael's older brother.  Jimmy is also a devoted husband, father, and craftsman. As brothers Jimmy and Michael connect over their love for woodworking.

Brad and Michael became friends at Grosse Ile High School through their school's CAD Design Program. They initially bonded over their shared loved of fast food during lunch breaks, but their friendship grew into much more. Brad loves Legos and traveling.

John is Dan's (Best Man) older brother and Michael has known him since grade school. John and Michael have traveled the west coast together and are close friends to this day.

Belle Isle Park, known simply as Belle Isle, is a 982-acre island park in Detroit, Michigan, developed in the late 19th century. It consists of Belle Isle, an island in the Detroit River, as well as several surrounding islets. The U.S.-Canada border is in the channel south of Belle Isle. There is both a conservatory and fresh-water aquarium on the isle. Make sure to check their hours before visiting!

The University of Michigan Matthaei Botanical Gardens includes botanical gardens, natural areas with trails, and several research-quality habitats and is part of the organization Matthaei Botanical Gardens and Nichols Arboretum. It was established in 1907.

Wedding Registry

The ceremony will begin at 3:30 P.M. at Mt. Hope Congregational Church located at 30330 Schoolcraft Rd. Livonia, MI 48150. Guests are welcome to park anywhere in the parking lot.

Cocktail Hour

Cocktail Hour will take place at 5 P.M. on the 1st floor of the One Under located at 35780 Five Mile Rd. Livonia, MI 48154. Beer, wine, and light snack will be served. Guests are welcome to park anywhere in the parking lot.

Reception

The reception will start at 6 P.M. on the 2nd floor of the the One Under building. Guests will be asked to go upstairs from the cocktail space to the reception hall at the end of Cocktail Hour. The Bridal Party will be joining shortly after 6 P.M. Buffet style dinner will be served around 6:30 P.M. A late night snack will be served at 8:45 P.M. Reception to end at 11:30 P.M.
