Is there a dress code?

We ask that our guests arrive in cocktail/semi-formal attire. Please no jeans, sneakers, or polo shirts…and of course, the bride should be the only one in white! Although not required, black attire is encouraged.

Are children allowed?

To allow all of our guests the chance to have an evening of relaxation, we request that the ceremony and reception be for ADULTS ONLY.

Can I bring a guest?

Please do not bring a guest unless they are specifically named on the invitation (either by the person's name or "and guest"). We have marked the number of seats reserved on the RSVP card and we appreciate your understanding of our need to limit our guest list.

How and when do I RSVP?

We have included traditional RSVP cards in our invitation suite. We have marked the number of seats reserved, we just ask that you indicate how many of you will be attending and the names of those attending. The return envelope is already stamped and addressed to us, you just have to drop it in the mailbox. Please RSVP no later than October 1st.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Both our ceremony and reception will be indoors.

What time does the ceremony start and when should I be there?

Our ceremony will begin at 1:00 PM. Please plan to arrive 15 minutes prior.

How long is the ceremony?

The ceremony will be about one hour long. It is a Catholic ceremony and we will be having mass.

Where should I park?

For the ceremony, our church has a parking lot one block down on the corner of N Mill Street and E Carroll Street. Street parking is also available. There is a spacious parking lot at the reception hall.

How much time is between the ceremony and the start of cocktail hour?

There will be about two and a half hours between the end of our ceremony and the beginning of cocktail hour (the ceremony will end at approximately 2:00 PM and cocktail hour will begin at 4:30 PM).

How far is the reception location from the ceremony location?

It is about a fifteen minute drive from the church to the reception hall.

Will there be transportation for guests?

We have secured a bus to transport guests from the hotel to the reception hall; pickup will be at 3:30 PM at the Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites in Frackville. The bus will then take guests back to the hotel (Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites in Frackville) at the end of the night.

What type of food will be at the reception?

There will be hors d'oeuvres served at cocktail hour including bacon-wrapped scallops, coconut shrimp, mini chicken cordon bleu bites, and spicy meatballs. Dinner will be served as family style and will include ham, stuffed chicken breast, roasted red potatoes, corn, and green beans. Dessert will include assorted cupcakes and cookies.

What if I have dietary restrictions?

Please notify us of any dietary requirements/allergies by October 1st so that we can plan accordingly with the caterer.

Will there be an open bar?

Of course!

Do I need cash?

Only if you would like to tip our bartenders or participate in the dollar dance!
