Our story began when we both met each other while enrolled in a class together attending NAIT business school. While Stéphane was further ahead in his studies, we somehow (thankfully for fate) were able to have this class together every week and really began to get to know one another. At first we were very good friends, and always worked on school projects together, which we both really enjoyed. Once this class ended, we went our separate ways and continued on in our separate endeavours in our post secondary journey; myself going to nursing school and Stéphane continuing on at NAIT and finishing his finance degree.

Fast forward almost a year later, we were both at the 2018 Grey Cup here in Edmonton but not together. We ended up connecting through social media again and began to talk more frequently, and eventually made plans to go on a date in December of 2018. We went out for dinner and to the Christmas light event Glow in St. Albert. Our connection from the beginning was extremely recognizable and we both had such an amazing time, feeling like our interactions had never changed since the last time we saw one another. Ever since that day we really have been inseparable, and feel so lucky that we get to spend the rest of our lives together!
