Thank goodness we swiped right....yes we met on a dating app! Funny enough we only lived about 3 minutes from each other anyways, and probably wouldn't have met without it. Our first date was postponed because Michael had COVID, and we finally got to have our first date on December 4th, 2021, at Morrie's Steakhouse. Mike will admit that he really took Morgan there so he could have a good steak, thankfully they talked the night away and continued their date at The Attic for drinks afterwards.

We started to slowly meet each other's friends, and we really just seemed to fit seamlessly into each other's lives. Sage finally warmed up to Morgan, even though she was kind of stealing her human.

Morgan moved into Michael's house in March of 2023, as we knew that we wanted to spend our lives together. Sage approved of Morgan gaining the title of "dog mom," and was sure happy her mom was home during some weekdays to keep her company now.

After countless family dinners at the Buchman house and traveling to Vermillion and Minnesota to see Morgan's family many times, we took another trip with Michael's family to Jeff & Julie's hometown of Munising, Michigan, where Michael grew up visiting.

On Wednesday, July 24th, 2024, at Sand Point Beach in Munising, Morgan just thought her and Michael were taking a post-dinner beach stroll. The beach stroll turned into a blanket with candles and flowers, and a secret photographer. The best part was Michael down on one knee asking to spend the rest of his life with Morgan. The easiest yes EVER!!!

Our story has been nothing short of amazing, filled with lots of laughs, dog parenting duties, fun nights with friends in Sioux Falls, travel with both family and friends, lots of sporting events, endless movie nights, many new recipes as well as introducing each other to our family staples, and best of all, getting to be on this journey together!

We are so excited to have you join us to celebrate the start of our next chapter!
