Grant and Morgan met during sophomore year at Aurora High School. They became fast friends and eventually started dating beginning of senior year. They parted ways for a few years, while they figured out the college life. Morgan attended Wayne State College, where she pursued a degree in Elementary Education and K-6 Special Education. Grant attended Fort Hays State University in Kansas focusing on Animal Science. After a few years, they rekindled their relationship. They currently live in Doniphan, NE. Grant works at Platte Valley Vet Clinic in Alda, NE. Morgan teaches 4th grade at Watson Elementary in Hastings. Morgan and Grant enjoy helping out on their family farms and spending time with friends and family.

On July 2nd, Morgan and Grant headed down to Holstein, NE to check cows. While in the pasture Grant was focused on actually checking the health of the cows, while Morgan was more focused on trying to pet them. While Morgan was distracted Grant was able to sneak up behind her. When she turned around, he was down on one knee. Morgan was able to convince Grant to take a quick picture, however then was asked to go stand in the gate so he could dart a sick calf.
