We met online April of 2020. As with most things during Covid, there was a lot of uncertainties surrounding the few places we could meet and who we could interact with. This limited us to a small circle and jumpstarted our shared love of the outdoors.
Anyone that knows Cameron and I well, know that we jump both feet into most situations. This has led us on some wild adventures and given us crazy stories. As with any journey of life, there have been hardships, but our shared adventures give us amazing positive memories to lean on during those times.
When Cameron and I decided to first join our lives together, we both brought wonderful additions to our family. Cameron brought his beautiful girls, Ellie and Emma, and I brought my four-legged girl, Kennedy. We have since added Theo to round out our family. In addition to those four, we have an incredible extended family with whom we share many loving memories as well.
Our journey and adventures led us to the night of March 29th. Cam came home early from a trip and packed us and the dogs up for a camping trip. Unbeknownst to me, he had already notified our families of his plan to propose. After a day of hiking and enjoying our night together; Cam called me into the tent where he said he had "found something". Instead, I found him on one knee, and he popped the question! There were immediate tears, but I eventually got to a happy Yes.
Cameron and I currently live in Frederick, Maryland together. We have been very blessed to enjoy the last 4 years together and are looking forward to many more to come. We acknowledge the timeframe in which we decided to get married and appreciate everyone's support and even more so those who will be able to attend our celebration in person!
