Hi, I'm Shannon Jones and I've known Morgan for nearly 16 years! She started off as my boyfriend's little sister but now she is my sister for life! I remember I used to braid her sensitive little head any time she asked me too and cheer for her at every swim meet. I was there when she graduated from Notre Dame and college at Adrian. We ate Sarnies together and even made them together too. We drank tequila sunrises in Mexico and went snorkeling in the Gulf. We walked the streets and window shopped in Saugatuck. We went apple picking and searched for pumpkins. She was there when both of my kids were born and has been the best Aunty to them. I watched you buy your first house and host a fabulous Thanksgiving. We snuck up on her when Mykela proposed by the water at Parmenters. I can't wait to stand by your side when you marry the love of your life. I love you Morgan and I'm so lucky to have known you as long as I have. It's been such a privilege to watch you and Mykela grow as partners and I can't wait to see what the future holds! 


Shannon

Morgan and I met in high school, we both were in choir together. We bonded over our love for ice cream and coffee..and still do! Although we went to different colleges and have lived in different states for the past 8 years, we have still been close. We have one of those friendships that even if we don’t talk for a couple of weeks or months, we can pick up right where we left off. She is a lifetime friend to me. I am so excited to experience the love Morgan and Mykela share, and to be a part of their wedding day!

Claire

Morgan and I first met when she started working at the school I was working at. I would visit her often because she was in my old classroom. We quickly became friends. Over the years Morgan has become more than just a friend. She has been there for me through a lot of hard times and so many good times. She is the best Auntie Morgan to my two boys and one of the best friends anyone could have.


Katie

Morgan and I first met in 2019 in our college teacher-education program, completely unaware that a simple classroom pairing would turn into one of the most meaningful friendships of our lives. From late-night study sessions to laughing our way through the chaos of college, we quickly became close friends, someone to lean on, celebrate with, and grow alongside.
Even though life has taken us down different paths and placed a few miles between us, our connection has never faded. We’ve stayed close at heart through every new job, move, and milestone. No matter how long it’s been since we’ve seen each other, we always pick up right where we left off, as if no time has passed at all.
Our friendship has been a constant source of joy and understanding. Being able to stand by Morgan now, as she steps into this beautiful new chapter as a bride-to-be, is something I’m incredibly grateful for. She deserves every ounce of love and happiness coming her way, and I’m honored to be a part of it.


Makayla

Hi!! I’m Ruby, Morgan’s little sister. I was honestly so young when I met Morgan that I can’t remember a time without her in my life. When I found out our parents were getting married, I was beyond excited that she was officially my sister. She quickly showed me what it meant to have the best big sister! Our morning donut runs (now with the addition of coffee) are some of my favorite memories we share. Being there when Morgan was proposed to by Mykela was absolutely magical, so I can only imagine how incredible their wedding day will be. I am so, so happy and honored to stand by Morgan’s side on her special day with Mykela.

Ruby

I’ve known Mykela since kindergarten, and we’ve grown up side by side through middle school, high school, and college. We’ve been through so many seasons of life together, and her friendship has been a constant I’m incredibly grateful for. Seeing how happy she is with Morgan makes my heart so full, and I couldn’t be more excited for this next chapter of her life. I’m truly honored to stand by her side as her maid of honor on such a meaningful day.

Amanda

Mykela showed up at HSHV one day in 2018 as a total surprise hire, and on her first day, she was put with me for training. Little did we know, that random pairing would turn into a best friendship. Now, we’re usually planning our next trip, sharing snacks, or being each other’s go-to for wrangling fractious patients and keeping our sanity. 


Mykela and I met in high school during yearbook class (go Blazers), and one class was all it took to become lifelong friends. From our mutual love of coffee (and beer) to unforgettable trips to the U.P. and Ireland, our friendship has been filled with laughter, memories, and a lot of good times. I can’t wait to stand by her side in October!

Anna Marie

Hi, I’m Kristy! Mykela and I met during our first trip to Regionals as soccer referees back in 2016. Who knew that randomly getting assigned to the same van would result in a 10+ year friendship! We’ve spent countless hours stressing over game assignments, debriefing how our games went, and sharing all the latest referee gossip. While refereeing was the focus early on, our friendship has grown far beyond that. Over the last few years, it’s been so fun to support each other through big life milestones—finding our soulmates, house hunting, proposals, and having Mykela by my side for my wedding. Now I’m honored to stand by her as she begins this next chapter!

Kristy 

Fifteen years ago, Mykela showed up to soccer tryouts in a sling, and I ran over to claim her as my friend (protecting her from the goalie who put her in that sling)! That friendship turned into sleepovers, pre-practice pizza rolls, “rival” high school soccer seasons, and even a long-distance friendship. My favorite thing about our friendship is that it feels like no time ever passes when we get together.


Kelly 

Mykela and I met during high school soccer tryouts and have been besties ever since! Whether it’s a last-minute lake day or a sushi night that must be planned 3-6 weeks in advance, our friendship picks up right where we left off regardless of how long it’s been. Mykela has the biggest heart in the world, the kindest listening ear, and gives the absolute best hugs! I’m so honored to call her one of my dearest friends and to get to stand next to her when she marries her person!

Trisha

Hi, I’m Natalie Hawkins, Mykela’s younger and only sister. I’ve known her forever, so watching her find her person has been pretty special. We have gone through many phases in life. From sharing a room, bonding over soccer, and then to staying up late together so she can help me with anything school related over the years! I knew I could rely on her for anything! I’m super excited to stand by her on her big day!  


Natalie

I’m Wilson Smith and I’m 4.5 years old. Morgan and I met when she started nannying for me when I was 2.5! I love doing anything physical with Morgan, including wrestling,  playing chase, having a “snowball fight” (also known as dodgeball), and giving her hugs! I can’t wait to celebrate Morgan and Mykela!


Wilson

I’m Walker Smith and I’m 2.5 years old. I met Morgan when I was just 4 months old and she’s been my bestie ever since. My favorite things to do with Morgan include: going on stroller walks (bonus if we’re at the zoo), blasting music in the car, preferably “Elsa music”, and getting ice cream after a Costco run. I’m so excited to see Morgan on her special day!

Walker 

I’m George Smith and I’m 9 months old. I’ve known Morgan ever since I was born. I love when she sings to me, reads me books, and takes me to music class. She also is SO good at making fun crafts with my hands and feet and one time with my bum! She’s the best!


George 

Hi, I'm Carter Jones and I've known my Aunties since I was born! They love to give me kisses and take me outside to play and go for walks! I love when Aunty Morgan sneaks up on me and tickles me! I'll be taking my job as ring security very seriously so no one mess with me!

Carter

Hi, I'm Harper Jones and I've known my Aunties since I was born! My Aunty Morgan gives me the best cuddles and I can snooze in her arms any time! She loves to hear about my school days and loves when I read her books! I also love when we FaceTime and can talk her ear off! I love my aunties so much and can't wait to see them get married! They will make lovely brides!
