Morgan and Cody met back in high school. She was a freshman and he was a sophomore in the same circle. Morgan always thought Cody was a cutie, but nothing ever became of it. Cody continued on at Cimarron Memorial High School, and Morgan transferred to Nevada State High School forcing their paths to go separate ways.

Morgan and Cody kept in touch through social media through the years, and later matched on Hinge. Cody also messaged her on Instagram, but nothing still become of anything. In July of 2021 Morgan was invited over to Chandler's (Cody's groomsman's) through a mutual friend a couple of times. Morgan asked Cody for his phone number to join the Grey's Anatomy binging she was doing, with an ulterior motivate. From then on, the two clicked and were inseparable.

Morgan and Cody had talked about getting engaged for a couple months. Cody knew from the third day of them hanging out she was the one. Cody had convinced Morgan the proposal was going to happen that following summer, in order to make it a surprise. On New Years Eve Morgan thought they were just going to dinner for a date night and to their friend's later that night. After dinner, Cody said "Let's go look at the Christmas lights." As they approached the Christmas tree, the area was completely empty, which made it such an intimate moment. Cody got down on one knee and said," So I know I said it would happen next year, but will you marry me?"

Looking at the future, we can not wait to travel the world, purchase our first home, and start having a family in the coming years. Whenever we are together we can not help but constantly smile and laugh.
