The couple actually met at a wedding! Their best man Mitch and bridesmaid Jenna, got married in 2019. At the reception there just so happened to be an unplanned open seat at Morgan's table and Greg was the one who filled it. In true Morgan fashion, she had to poke at him and asked if he knew the name of the pattern on his pearl snap shirt. She was shocked to learn that he did in fact know the pattern. Morgan was proud to inform him that Paisley was not just the pattern but the name of her miniture golden retreiver. Their first date was 2 months later and the rest is history!

On a Sunday afternoon, Greg suggested that he and Morgan take their small skiff boat out for a cruise on the river. This is one of their favorite weekend activities so Morgan was very unsuspecting. Greg went ahead of Morgan to get the boat ready and the plan was to meet at the boat ramp. On the way in, Greg ventured off to the side of the river. Morgan assumed they were stopping to explore a new spot. She went up to the front of the boat to tie off and when she turned around, Greg was waiting on one knee!
