Morgan and Griffin’s story began when they first met at Brick Street at Miami University. However, fate had more in store for them than a college connection. Despite not forming a deep bond during their time at Miami, life (Joey, a friend to both) had a way of bringing them back together a few years later. Griffin asked for her number and after a lot of convincing (a week) they went on a date together to Bakersfield.

Morgan and Griffin spent the next few years in Grandview frequenting the front porch of Griffin’s apartment with friends and newfound neighbors on Grandview Ave, Barrel n Taps, Grandview Cafe, and many more. They also went on many trips and adventures together in between.

The most special adventure took place in June 2023 during a family vacation in Southport, NC. Morgan and her family would visit this area every summer since she was born. One of the most visited spots in Southport is the swings overlooking the Cape Fear River, where they would all stop to talk, swing, and spend time together. It was here, that Griffin proposed with his family waiting to surprise her and spend the next few days together in her favorite spot, Kure Beach.

Now, as they plan their wedding together, they can’t wait to share this big day with all of their loved ones and are so excited to embark on this new chapter together.
