Our Wedding

It all started in September 2024. Morgan was just in a major car accident and her SUV was totaled. She had a broken ankle, a black eye from a fracture in her face and was out of work due to her injuries. Morgan was showing her roommate her dating apps and the misery that it was and how she wasn't even looking to give anyone the time of day and told her to have a ball.Morgan's roommate, Emily, began swiping for her and they joked about the apps, until she came across Dalton's profile. Emily paused saying, "this one is actually cute! And he has an actual bio!" They were intrigued by this and scanned the profile and read what he had to say. Morgan shrugged her shoulders and told Emily to give it a go. Low and behold, it was a match.In Dalton's bio, he wrote that he enjoyed checking out local coffee shops. So with Morgan not one to hold back, she messaged him asking which one they were going to first as her opening message.They began exchanging messages and he quickly asked for her number and began texting each other. The conversation was flowing naturally and they planned to meet for coffee in a few days. That is when Morgan threw him a curve ball. She told him about her accident and that he would have to pick her up, that she was on crutches and that she had a black eye. I mean hey, perfect chance to read his intentions. Because if you can't accept me at my worst, you don't deserve me at my best! Dalton picked her up and took her to coffee without hesitation. He was a total gentleman and helped her with her crutches. They sat outside the local coffee shop, Lazy Labrador, and talked for two hours. Then, he told her that he really didn't want the date to end and asked her to go to lunch. They drove to a local brunch spot, First Watch, and ate lunch together. Afterwards, they still were enjoying each other's company, however, her ankle began hurting from being out and about.Morgan told him that she doesn't normally do this, but that he could come back to her house for a movie, and that she really needed to get off her ankle. He came to her house and they watched a movie. They ended up spending the entire day together when it started out as "just coffee."As he left, he kissed her on the back porch, and they decided to meet again. Three days passed and Morgan wanted to make sure that he was serious. She invited him to watch the football game with her and some friends. Dalton walked in with her favorite candy in hand, gravitated towards her the remainder of the night, and has not left her side since.Needless to say, she found her lobster.

Music Challenge

To steal Morgan's brother and sister in law's idea, (with their own twist) she also began a music challenge on Spotify with Dalton. They created a playlist and added their own music to it little by little. Dalton and Morgan got to know each other through their music tastes, which was VASTLY different, but shared a love of music nonetheless.

Ashley was Morgan's very first friend that she made when she moved to the ATL area in 2018. They were co-teachers in a preschool classroom. Morgan had the pleasure of standing by Ashley's side as she got married and watch her become a mother, and now Morgan is honored to have her by her side.

Adam is Dalton's best friend since middle school. From getting trucks stuck in places they shouldn't be to watching Adam marry the girl of his dreams, they have been by each others sides. Dalton and Adam will remain friends for a lifetime.

Aubre and Morgan have been friends since they were 14 years old. They became inseparable in college and have watched each other go through different phases of life. Aubre is Morgan's long distance bestie.

Jacob is Dalton's younger brother. Jacob came into Dalton's life when he was at a stage when he was moving out of the house, but Dalton was able to be a role model for Jake even though they have a large age gap between the two of them. He is proud to be a big brother to his "bubba".

Morgan met Krista in her very first ABA clinic. They became fast friends and Morgan watched her marry her best friend and become a mother. Krista has been by Morgan's side through different phases of life and been a rock for her through it all.

James is Dalton's brother in law. James married Dalton's sister Siarra in 2023. James is a great example of how a man should treat a woman and shows this everyday in how he treats Siarra and Dalton could not have chosen a better brother in law.

Siarra is Dalton's sister. When Morgan and Siarra first met, Morgan knew immediately they were going to be close. Siarra and Morgan formed a relationship almost overnight and began talking everyday. Morgan is thrilled to have Siarra as her sister.

Emily and Dalton met when he began dating Morgan. Emily is Morgan's roommate and the two of them began forming a relationship like bickering siblings right away. From heartfelt conversations on the floor in the living room to laughing so hard with tears, Emily and Dalton are the best of friends.

Morgan met Elizabeth through a work experience of working side by side in ABA. Elizabeth was the very first friend of Morgan’s that Dalton met before they even officially started dating! Morgan is proud to have Elizabeth as not only a friend, but as a part of hers and Dalton’s journey.

Anthony is Dalton's step brother. Dalton worked side by side with Anthony for some time helping his business flourish. Anthony has always been there for Dalton when he needed him and continues to be more than just a step brother, but his real big brother.

Megan and Morgan met at the end of 2023. They hit it off right away with their love of books. Megan and Morgan have shared memories of bread making, sewing projects, paint and game nights and even the Renaissance Fair. She is a true friend and the best supporter.

Allen is Morgan’s Bridesmaid Megan’s husband. Dalton and Allen met through many couples nights and formed a friendship quickly. They share a love of firearms, the art of craftsmanship, and all things spicy.

Jenny is Morgan's sister in love. She married Morgan's brother in 2024 but has been a part of the family for a few years before that. Morgan couldn't have picked a better partner for her brother and a better sister to have for herself.

Jarad is Morgan's brother. Dalton and Jarad share a goofy personality and a passion for learning new things. Although Jarad may be limited in his diet because of a gluten allergy, together Dalton and Jarad are highly regarded ambassadors of the coveted clean plate club.

Kayla was Morgan's best friend and roommate in college. They were also coworkers. She and her daughter Ella lived with Morgan in college and they did everything together. Even when they all moved out of their duplex, Kayla and Morgan dedicated one night a week for over a year to girls night where she would come stay with her and Ella for old times sake. Kayla was taken from this Earth too soon in 2017 and is now a guardian angel. But Morgan is honored to have her as her honorary bridesmaid. Morgan knows that she would have been thrilled to celebrate this day with her.

Wade is Morgan's cousin. She has watched him grow up from singing Kenny Chesney songs on the fireplace as a toddler for the family, loads of baseball and football games, and even standing up next to him and his bride on their wedding day. Morgan is thrilled to have him be a part of her wedding day.

Hagen is Morgan’s cousin. Hagen has the personality of a stand up comedian and a heart of gold. Watching him grow into the man he is today and marrying his high school sweetheart was the icing on top. Morgan is overjoyed to have him as a part of the wedding.

Hamp is Morgan’s cousin. Hamp is the oldest of the Wade cousin clan. Morgan falls second in line in age in the cousin crew growing up close to Hamp. Morgan feels a great honor to include Hamp in this special day.

Wildlife preserve and nature trails. There is a boardwalk trail that leads to a tower that overlooks the entire swamplands. If you are lucky, you will spot several wildlife on your journey including alligators.

This isn't what you are thinking. This is a family owned country market and cafe. Home cooked meals and take and bake goods. Definitely a must see for tourists.

Raisin' Cane Country Store

Local bar in downtown Hahira. They have trivia, karaoke, and live music depending on the night if you are looking for some local nightlife.

Open kitchen, patio seating, full bar and the BEST cocktails. I recommend the filet or ribeye with the balsamic glaze. They also have a yummy brunch on Sundays and it is one of the only places in town that serves actual brunch... with bottomless mimosas and other fun brunch cocktails!

Local BRICK OVEN pizzeria. Good food, good company.

Good ol BBQ that everyone can enjoy. It is close to the interstate and the venue and is a town staple.

Hands down the best hole in the wall seafood joint. Get the baked oysters; they are smothered in cheese

Bubba Jax Crab Shack

Drive-thru only but please do yourself a favor and stop here before you leave. you HAVE to try the cheddar rounds. I get them and get a mac sauce to dip them in. You will thank me later. This is a local place and their breakfast in a cup is also a hangover cure. You're welcome.
