Morgan and Jordan met in grade 7 at Stonepark Junior High School and quickly fell into the same friend group. Throughout the years, their friendship grew and the two were the best of friends. After ten years of friendship, while on a trip to Cuba, Morgan and Jordan joked that if they were both single by the time they were 35, they would marry each other. It wasn't long after that trip that they decided to become more than friends and built their first house together two years later.

After almost three years of living together, on June 6th, 2024, Jordan took Morgan to their favourite beach, where they frequently search for sea glass. He dropped to one knee and asked Morgan if they could spend the rest of their lives together.
