Our Wedding

We first met in a wound care clinic in Cleburne, Texas during one of Morgan’s rotations in PA school. Logan had worked closely with Dr. Webb since he had moved to Texas in 2022 and Dr. Webb told him “Come down to the clinic, you have to meet this girl.” For our first date Logan took Morgan to Joe T Garcia’s (a Fort Worth staple) for some Mexican food and margaritas followed by The Stockyards for some two-steppin’. Logan quickly became a great supporter through the completion of Morgan’s PA program and passed the ‘parent test’ in November 2023. After that, they became inseparable and Logan popped the question July 5th, 2024 with her friends &amp; family there to celebrate with a surprise engagement party afterwards. Now let the wedding planning begin!

Accommodations 

When you’re in Fort Worth it’s definitely a perfect time to visit the stockyards where you can catch an evening rodeo, walk around the shops, listen to live music, and even learn to two-step! Bring your cowboy boots, or buy a pair in the stockyards (and wear them to the wedding)! You’re bound to have a great time. Some of our favorite places to see include The Drover Hotel, Billy Bob’s, Second Rodeo, The White Elephant Saloon, and Rhinestone Saloon (where we first went dancing together).

Fort Worth Stockyards

Truly a Fort Worth staple with a simple TexMex menu. They are known for their margaritas and outdoor ambiance. They are cash only but have an ATM in the restaurant. After dinner you can walk down to the stockyards!

Such a fun place to grab a drink and listen to piano covers of everyone’s favorite music. You may see a bachelorette party (or two) but is a great late-night place to stop after grabbing dinner in downtown Fort Worth or checking out Thompson’s speakeasy!

Pete's Dueling Piano Bar

Make sure you check out their speakers downstairs if you go or ask the bartender to make their own special cocktail that is not on the menu! Come here after walking around downtown Fort Worth to get out of the heat.
