The dress code for the event is black tie optional. Men may opt to wear a suit and tie or a more formal tuxedo jacket. Women can wear anything from a formal cocktail dress to a full length gown.

The ceremony will start promptly at 5 o'clock in the evening

The hotels with room blocks for our guests will be around downtown Richmond, where many other weekend festivities will take place. If you prefer to stay closer to the venue, there are also several hotel options nearby.

Due to our guest count, we are only able to accommodate young children of immediate family members. If your children are not listed on the invitation, we ask that you arrange childcare for the night and join us for a kid-free evening! If you have any uncertainty about who in your family is invited, please do not hesitate to contact the bride or groom for clarification.

Please arrive to be seated 15-30 minutes prior to the start time. To prevent distractions during our wedding ceremony, we will not allow late guests to be seated once the ceremony has started.

We kindly ask that you leave your phone in your purse or pocket during the ceremony, both out of respect to the couple and the professionals we have hired to capture this special moment. You may take as many pictures as you would like during the cocktail hour and reception!
