On this date Morgan really did not think she would hear from Brendan again because she karate chopped his arm when he went to flag down the bar tender but throughout this date she felt something she never felt on another date: warmth and comfort instead of my usual panic and anxiety. When our elbows brushed (it’s like the beginning of a Hello Goodbye song “you are the one” right?) she felt she could melt into it.

From here this sparked a passion and a travel bug in us… we were blessed to have experiences to go to Orlando and Mexico every year as well as travel around the world to celebrate our friends and family getting married. We also traveled quite a bit to see amazing music together! We also live apart from our families so we have enjoyed traveling to see our families in PA and NJ 💜

Fast forward to February 2025, Brendan and I were going to have a solo weekend in Charleston, SC - one of our favorite places! He was there a day or two early for a dental course which was on photography. Our plan on Saturday was to wake up early and go take pictures of the Angel Oak tree. Brendan got ready before me, I changed my outfit to match his (I was in an Odesza crop top originally), and when we pulled up to the tree I saw more photographers arriving to take pictures of this iconic tree. Brendan did act a little weird before going to the bathroom but I was just taking in the wonder of this gorgeous place. We were under the Angel Oak taking pictures and he asked me to look at some of his pictures he took when he scrolled past a ring. Little before I was able to fully take it in he was down on one knee asking me to marry him! I said yes!
