All great stories start somewhere…In our story, I guess you can say it all started with a phone call. First, we should probably talk about how we met. Morgan and I met at Eastern Illinois University through mutual friends (thanks groomsman Robert Mitchell). Now the exact date, time, and place we met is a little blurry. Let’s be honest, I’m sure we were both intoxicated in some type of capacity when that occurred. Let’s fast forward to 2016, what a year it was! The Chicago Cubs won the World Series, choker necklaces made a comeback and Justin Timberlake’s “Can’t Stop the Feeling” song was all over the radio. Once again groomsman Rob played a pivotal role in bringing us together. Morgan and I texted back and forth with Rob talking about how we would like to go on a date together. Of course I waited several weeks before gathering enough courage to ask Morgan on a date. This is where the monumental phone call came into play. I called and asked Morgan on a date over the phone. We went on our first date in August 2016. After many dates, Morgan and I made our relationship Facebook official on 11/11/2016. After dating for five years, I once again gathered the courage to ask Morgan to marry me on 09/04/2021. If you haven’t caught onto the theme of this story yet, I guess you can chalk it up as “all great things come with time.” Unfortunately, for those who need to know how the story ends, our story is far from finished. However, on 01/06/2024, we would both like to thank you for being apart of the next chapter of our story!
