On June 10, 2016, I was heading to a Dave Matthews Band concert at the Xfinity Center in Mansfield, MA. I was going with my college roommate Marisa, and my home friend Nicole. Nicole was planning on meeting up with some of her college friends to tailgate, so Marisa and I tagged along. Nick was one of those college friends of Nicole that was at the tailgate. Nick and I said a few words to each other, enjoyed the concert and called it a night. Fast forward a month to July 23, 2016, I attended a bar crawl in Boston that Nick also attended. Nick and I were talking all day and night. I eventually made the first move and leaned in for a kiss. Nick and I exchanged numbers. I was going into my senior year of college, Nick texted me asking to take me on a date but I kept postponing due to returning to school. Throughout the next year, Nick did not give up on trying to take me on a date while I was home from Sacred Heart.

I graduated college in May 2017 and moved home. While still exchanging texts with Nick, I mentioned I would be home for good. June 21, 2017, Nick and I go on our first date at Tony C's in Burlington, MA. I told Nick not to come and get me at the door because both my brothers were home and I was not ready for the big brothers to scare him away. We spent the entire night talking and hitting it off. It was like we knew each other our entire lives. I remember when I got home, I sat next to my mom all giddy and said "I think I really like him". The next day Nick asked me if I wanted to go out to Polcari's on route 1 with some of his friends and listen to their wedding band. I was a little nervous because I had just graduated college and all his friends were going out to listen to wedding bands! That next day we went to dinner with his friend Geddis and his now wife Lisa and enjoyed a delicious dinner. Following dinner we met up with more of his friends and enjoyed some cocktails and listened to the band. I instantly created a connection with all of his friends.

Over the next 6 years, Nick and I have enjoyed traveling, cooking together, attending many weddings, moving in together, sitting at the 99's bar, and most importantly falling more and more in love with each other every day. October 28, 2022, was the best day of my life when Nick got down on one knee in Boston asking me to spend the rest of my life with him!

We are so excited for September 14, 2024 to become husband and wife and celebrate our love with all of our favorite people!
