Morgan- "I had seen Ian here and there at Raleigh Brewing while he worked in the connected homebrew shop and I was trying to get my business of the ground. We even worked an off-site event together but didn't really speak. We were both invited to our friend Adriene's birthday party at Urban Axes and the sparks were undeniable. I even blew off a couple friends that night (sorry gals!) to continue hanging out with Ian. Later we realized that we were sort of being set up by Adriene but it all worked out in the end."

Ian- "I was told to stay clear of this daughter the bosses had. So naturally I didn't. The beginning was fun and secretive. We didn't want to let the cat out of the bag too soon. One afternoon Morgan and her dad came back from lunch and he came and asked if I still had a job here. Needless to say it was slightly precarious at first. But in the end I would say that Michael Scott was correct, You miss 100% of the shots you don't take, --Wayne Gretzky."

Morgan- "I gave Ian a couple criteria to follow for the proposal.

1. I didn't want it to happen at Raleigh Brewing.

2. I wanted our dog, Juniper, to be there.

3. I didn't want to have to entertain a bunch of people right afterwards.

He met all of those criteria when he proposed to me in our home after a day of hanging out with friends. It was the only way he was going to surprise me, truthfully. I am the planner in the relationship so if there was anything fishy going on, I would have smelled it a mile away! We called both of our immediate families right after and were able to celebrate with them."

Morgan- "Loving Ian has been the easiest and most natural-feeling thing I've ever done. He is my best friend, most trusted confidant, sounding board, and voice of reason. He has supported me through my lowest and celebrated with me at my highest. Ian is my favorite person to do everything and nothing with. I truly can't wait to spend the rest of my life with him!"

Ian- "Morgan is an amazing woman that I am lucky to be marrying. Our time together has been fun, organic and evolving. She was there during school for me which can only show you how patient she is. She truly is wonderful and I couldn't imagine my life any other way."
