Morgan and Leo’s story began over books and hot chocolate when they were both servers at IHOP. They both thoroughly enjoyed reading, making fun of their customers, slacking off, and could always be seen laughing at something in the kitchen or the dining area. Their first official date was on May 27, 2019 when they went to Olive Garden and a movie. This would be a template for their relationship, and they would both go on to gain several happy pounds over the next year. Throughout their first summer together, their relationship grew stronger over many outdoor adventures at Lake Texoma. As the weather got cooler, they continued to enjoy the outdoors together carving pumpkins, hiking, fishing, and camping. A late-December trip to Durango, Colorado rang in the new year for the young couple. On their return to Oklahoma, the couple saw less and less of each other, as they were both full-time students and employees. Their bond never wavered, however. When the COVID-19 pandemic struck the United States in March and the public panicked, they were happy to get to see more of each other. The young couple would take trips to New Orleans and the Dominican Republic in the next few months, never letting fear overshadow their sense of adventure and exploration. It was on this trip to the Caribbean Sea that Leo would ask Morgan to marry him on the beach, before one of the greatest sunsets that the planet has ever seen. She said yes to spending her life with him, and it was all pancakes and syrup from there.
