WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE?

The dress code for our event is what we're calling Mountain Formal, a refined style that strikes a balance between black tie and cocktail attire. For women, this entails opting for knee to floor-length gowns or dresses, or alternatively, a tasteful pant suit paired with an appropriate shoe. Please be mindful there are areas to the venue that are not paved. Men are encouraged to wear slacks paired with jackets or a dinner suit.

We aimed to create an ambiance that's elegant and formal yet not overly rigid, nor too casual. Think of it as a classy affair with a touch of mountain charm—perhaps even incorporating elements like nice cowboy boots or bolo ties for a high Western flair.

Given the color scheme of our wedding, which features emerald green for the bridesmaids, we suggest avoiding dark green attire to avoid matching them too closely. Our wedding palette embodies an elegant and moody mountain vibe, with shades of dark greens, blacks, and whites. So, aim for colors that complement this palette while adhering to the Mountain Formal dress code.

Are Kids Allowed?

We hope you understand that while we adore children, we've made the decision to host an adults-only celebration for our wedding.

Our aim is to create an atmosphere where everyone can fully relax and enjoy themselves without any distractions. This choice also allows us to ensure that every guest can fully immerse themselves in the experience without any interruptions. Your presence and support mean the world to us, and we're looking forward to celebrating this special day with you. Thank you for your understanding and for being a part of our joyous occasion.

Can I bring a plus one?

We want to express our heartfelt gratitude for your presence and support as we prepare for our wedding day. We wanted to take a moment to clarify our invitation details regarding plus-ones. As we plan our guest list, we've carefully considered every individual and have extended plus-one invitations only to those specified on their respective invitations.

While we would love to include everyone, we've made this decision to ensure an intimate and cohesive gathering that reflects our vision for this special occasion. Your understanding and respect for our decision mean the world to us, and we're thrilled to celebrate this momentous day with you. Thank you for your understanding and for being a part of our joyous celebration.

Is there cell service at the venue?

The cell service at the venue may be somewhat spotty due to its location within the Glenwood Canyon. We advise guests to make necessary arrangements for communication beforehand, such as informing loved ones of the potential connectivity challenges.

Can I take pictures & videos during the ceremony?

We kindly request that guests refrain from using cell phones to take pictures and videos during the wedding ceremony. Our aim is to create a serene and intimate atmosphere, allowing everyone to fully immerse themselves in the moment without distraction. By setting aside phones and cameras, we hope to foster a deeper connection among our guests and preserve the sanctity of this special occasion. We have hired professional photographers to capture every cherished moment, ensuring that you can fully relax and enjoy the celebration. Your cooperation in respecting this request is deeply appreciated, and we thank you for understanding our desire to create lasting memories in this way.

Are we still partying after the reception?

Interested in continuing the celebration with us? While we won't be organizing an official post-reception gathering, we encourage guests to join us at downtown in Glenwood if you wish to continue the party!
