We are excited to celebrate with you all, but must limit the number of guests, or if indicated a plus one, to those who are listed on the invitation and RSVP. Thank you for understanding. We look forward to a night of love and fun!
Clayton and Morgan met in Savannah, GA. Morgan was on a bachelorette trip for her good friend Brooke when they ran into a group of guys. Morgan’s friend Lauren began talking to Clayton and when he said he was from Hampton, SC, she had to introduce Clayton to Morgan. Clayton began talking to Morgan and their love story began… Clayton insisted that he was taking Morgan out the next weekend. He drove all the way to Aiken and took Morgan to Augusta. The first date felt like 3 dates in 1. They went to a Japanese restaurant for dinner, Dave and Busters while they waited for their movie show time, and a movie to end the night. Clayton has continued to spoil Morgan ever since.
Clayton wanted us to go for a weekend in Savannah where we first met. We were supposed to leave Friday night but Aiken had a lot of snow fall and the roads were too icy. We left for Savannah on Saturday and checked in to the hotel. Clayton said he wanted to take me for a walk down river street and to a few pretty sights before dinner. We walked to Forsyth Park to see the beautiful fountain. As we were walking towards the fountain, Clayton changed the way he was going and started walking away from it. I kept asking him what are we doing? I thought we were walking to the fountain? My mind went to wondering that he might be proposing... He took me to the oaks and said we have to go to the front to see the beautiful view of the trees and the fountain. As we got closer to the fountain I noticed a photographer taking pictures of someone and then a sign that said "Morgan, will you marry me?" Immediately the photographer turned around and began taking pictures of us. We were met with family and later friends at the restaurant. The proposal could not have been any better. The trumpet playing in the background, the sun shining through the oaks, and the love filled evening made it the most memorable moment of our lives.
