Morgan and Tyler met last year on a Tuesday night Young Adults church service. This was Morgans very first time attending, and Tyler had gone for a few months. They introduced themselves, got to chatting for a while with friends, and went on their way.


When Morgan got home that evening, she texted her best friends saying something like this...
Oh my gosh - there is this guy at Young Adults group that I could NOT stop staring at. He is so handsome!!


Tyler went home that evening and asked his best friend about this new girl at Victory Church.
Who is she? Know anything about her?


Little did they know, something special had begun!


They continued attending Young Adults group every other Tuesday. Morgan would (secretly) linger around Tyler in hopes that they could get to know each other more. They learned each others life stories, hobbies, and, most importantly, talked about their relationships with Jesus.


After getting comfortable with each other, it was time for a first date! Who made the first move?

Morgan did! After weeks of hesitation, she decided to message Tyler online...
“Hey Tyler! I may be getting the wrong idea so let me know. Haha. But would you like to go out to eat sometime? Ive enjoyed getting to know you!”


Smooth, Morgan. Smooth.


July 5th, 2024: Tyler took her to a legendary steakhouse called The Pine Club. This was an impressive place to go on a first date. (Hi, its Morgan! When Tyler recommended the Pine Club, I knew he was a keeper! Who takes a girl to THE steakhouse on their first date? Someone special, for sure.)


They went on a few more dates and things took off! Church events, restaurants, hikes, late-night walks, workouts, movies, game nights, and deep conversations. Without hesitation, they knew that God had answered their prayers. The Lord brought Tyler and Morgan together. They are two broken people with a huge heart for Jesus. What a blessing it has been.


Their relationship grew stronger, deeper, and more connected. Tyler and Morgan knew very quickly that they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together. Just months after dating, they began a pre-marital Bible study. They prioritized Gods Word and began studying what marriage really means.


For the first time in their lives, they had experienced real, sacrificial love in a dating relationship. When they looked into each others eyes, they could see a future together.


What many may not know about the couple is: When they met, they were perfectly content and joyful with their singleness. They each had taken years to heal from past relationships, and were at peace with God. But, as we know, God often has plans for us that we cannot yet see! The two were brought together unexpectedly, exactly when God wanted them to meet.


Many months passed as they dated and fell more in love.
In November 2024, Morgan had gone on a mission trip to Thailand. She was so excited to tell Tyler all about the trip! To celebrate her return, Tyler took her out on a date to her favorite restaurant in town: Firebirds Wood Fired Grill. He asked her to dress up and arrived with a beautiful bouquet of roses. (Can you see whats coming? Morgan had NO idea.)


They headed to Firebirds and walked across the bridge as they took in the view of the Christmas lights and fountains. They asked a gentleman to take a photo of them in their fancy outfits, when all of a sudden.... Tyler drops to his knee.


Morgan, will you marry me?


GASP! In total surprise and shock, she said yes!! It turns out, this photographer was a friend of Tylers. Sneaky man.


Tyler and Morgan have been enjoying their engagement since November 24th and are faithfully preparing for this covenant of marriage!
