Carter grew up in Minnesota but adventured to Sioux Falls to attend STI for welding. Once he graduated, he accepted a job in Yankton, SD at Kolbergs.

Morgan has lived in Yankton for the majority of her life. At the time of meeting Carter, she actually lived in Freeman, SD but still worked in Yankton.

One thing we had in common was Co-ed softball. We had played many games against each other for a few years before we were brave enough to actually introduce ourselves.

Now we play on the same co-ed team every summer!
