Our Wedding

We met online and had a handmade dinner for our first date. After a little while, we started going kayaking, bowling, hiking, and various different explorations of cities, parks, and zoos. After a year, we made it official. Before Ian deployed, we were engaged, but decided against marrying before he was out of the Army. So we set it 2 years out to give us time to grow, plan, and get things in order. Now, here we are inviting y'all to our joyous occasion! We are planning on honeymooning in Florida at Disney and Universal! While also exploring other sites and activities. Our plan is to build a house in between city and country. We believe in balance in every aspect of our lives. Thank you for being apart of Our Story.

I met Mike in 2018 and he has been one of my biggest supporters. He is the reason I was able to smile during hard times. He always makes sure that I am doing what is best for myself and never take myself for granted. We have had our moments of tension as we fiercely defend each others well being, but we always come from a place of good intention. Thank you for being there for me.

Scarlett is a dear friend I met in Virginia. She is sweet, endearing, and has always been like family. She has never let distance effect our friendship and we always pick up right where we left off. We met at the beginning of Covid! We met on a dating site called Hinge. For our first date, since everything was closed down... we did an at home dinner. Ian made spaghetti and sauce from scratch and watched a movie.

THANK YOU FOR CELEBRATING WITH US !! All wedding events will be taking place at Kalahari Resorts, which is also where we'll be staying . Y'all are free to stay at any location of your choice, but for your convenience, we've reserved a block of rooms at the following 3 hotels, each with a special rate. We highly recommend staying at Kalahari Resorts as each room INCLUDES FREE waterpark admission. Kalahari also has a variety of Restaurants, Gift Shops, Coffee Shops, Ice Cream and Fudge Shop, Live Entertainment, Laser Tag, Escape Rooms, Bowling Alley, Miniature Putt-Putt, Tom Foolery's big game room arcade, Fitness Center, Spa, and so much more.

Each room includes four waterpark passes for the duration of the stay. Waterpark admission is from 10:00am on your day of arrival through waterpark close on your day of departure. This hotel is 5.5 miles away and is located on the same road, Highway 79, as the wedding venue.
