One random Autumn night in 2018, Morgan and John both found themselves bar hopping in Midtown St. Louis. They were at an arcade bar when Morgan approached John asking if he knew how to play the game he was standing in front of. From there, John invited Morgan to join him and his friends as they were thinking about exploring another bar down the street. Morgan obliged and joined them down as they walked down the street.

At this second bar, everyone parted ways. Morgan danced with friends she met at this exact bar a week prior and John was back with his group. It wasn't until the end of the night after the bar closed that they saw each other again while waiting for their rides.

In a drunken state, John's friend made a suggestive joke that made both of them laugh awkwardly. Despite the groans it caused, it did prompt them to connect on Facebook. Facebook. But honestly, thank goodness for for that!

3 months went by without any contact until John randomly sent Morgan a message asking her to go out. The stars aligned and the rest is history!
