Morgan and John-Clare met during the first few months of a global pandemic. John-Clare was living in Nanaimo for grad school and Morgan moved from Vancouver to Nanaimo to live with her parents during the lockdown. If it wasn't for the COVID lockdowns, they would have never met. Their dating app radius's overlapped and due to the hysteria of COVID, they became pen pals and got to know each other over text for the first month.

John-Clare and Morgan starting dating in the summer of 2020. Morgan moved to Victoria in August 2020 because she got a job as a grade 3/4 teacher. They commuted a few hours every weekend to spend time with another and were in a long-distance relationship for a year. Morgan and John-Clare moved in together in Nanaimo in 2021 and the rest is history.

Morgan and John-Clare love to spend their free time together getting outdoors and spending their time exploring Vancouver Island. They love to spend all their money and free time visiting friends and family all over California and British Columbia.
