Once upon a time a very handsome man decided to look for love. He journeyed his way through the Internet and stumbled upon a wonderful app called Hinge.
It was a perilous journey and my fingers were becoming weak from pressing X. But then! With the last glimpse of hope appeared a beautiful girl, in a red dress, drinking Riesling in 30A.
My eyes couldn't believe what I was seeing. Her smile, her hair, her eyes, oh my! I swiped with a hopeful heart that we would match. And then, suddenly, to my heart's desire we matched!
I was jumping for joy but now realized the real work must be done. I dug deep and made a quality dad joke and struck gold. We were now in conversation and things were progressing swimmingly.
I took her to coffee on our first date at Chattahoochee Coffee and sat at the corner table on the balcony. Perfect! It was a lovely day. She was reserved, and shy, but I could see the sweetness of her heart.
As we continued dating we grew closer. She quickly learned that I hum and sing all the time and to my surprise likes it! Or as she'll say, tolerates it. What was one date turned into months of driving between Atlanta and Dawsonville. Morgan always told me, please don't propose until at least one year.
So I decided to propose 361 days later and she said yes!
The End. Or I guess this is just the beginning.
