Lets start with this. It is CHALLENGING to summarize 8 years in a cute little story, but here we go...

Evan and I met in Alfred NY. We both went to Alfred State college and played soccer! Everyone knew the cute boy with the brown hair and hazel eyes on the boys team. Not many people knew the freshman goalie on the girls team... I definitely had noticed how cute Evan was. My friend group eventually molded with Evan's friend group and we happened to meet the night he and his ex-girlfriend broke up. It was quite a first impression.

Fast forward to the next semester and Evan and I went on our first date. He took me to the Applebees in Hornell. It was quite lavish. ;) We quickly fell into a lovey-dovey college relationship. We spent almost every waking moment together. Everything was wonderful until the semester ended - he graduated.

Now starts our "long distance relationship". We both drove back and forth to visit each other every weekend. It was great for Evan while it was eye opening for me. I had never driven on roads without yellow lines and I NEVER had to watch for out Amish buggies. I learned quickly that city driving and country driving are two VERY different things. Evan supported me every single step of the way through the rest of my college career. He single handedly got me through Vet Tech School.

Once Evan graduated from college, he decided to explore some different job options. He started off being a snow groomer at Holiday Valley, then he switched to golf course grounds maintenance, and then thought he found his home at the school being a groundskeeper. Little did he know, he would enter a 5 year apprenticeship for the IBEW.

We moved in together in a cute storybook apartment in Salamanca, NY while Evan finished his apprenticeship. I brought my Annabelle on this journey. While we lived together in that apartment, we decided to acquire 2 more cats (Aslan and Aero), a dog (Ember), several fish and about 80,000 honeybees.

Once Evans' hard work finally paid off and he became a Journeyman Electrician, we decided to uproot our lives and move to Rochester, NY. We decided on a house in Hamlin and became homeowners!

Our second Christmas season in this house is the most memorable by far. While we were Christmas tree shopping, Evan asked me to spend forever with him. I of course said yes, and now we are here!
