Mitch and Morgan first met in August of 2020. After gaining acceptance into Medical School, they found themselves placed in the same 'Team-Based Learning (TBL) Group,' comprising six students partnered together for their four years of training. Mitch and Morgan, amongst the other members of TBL 14, spent countless hours studying together, working in the Anatomy Lab, and depending on one another.

As time passed, Mitch and Morgan developed a strong connection and began to feel their relationship shift to something more significant. After harboring their feelings, subdued by the fear of jeopardizing their friendship, they took the risk for the chance of building a future together. That pivotal moment between Mitch and Morgan revealed that over the months of their friendship, they had completely and undeniably fallen in love. Immediately, they shared an indescribable but overwhelming certainty that they were the ones with whom they would spend the rest of their lives (making their heads spin with the intensity of this blatant understanding and all-consuming joy).

From that day forward, Mitch and Morgan were inseparable. Their devotion and commitment to one another grew steadfast as they supported one another throughout medical school, becoming each other’s anchor, lifeline, and other half.

On Christmas Day in 2022, Mitch knelt on one knee, officially signifying what this couple had long known in their hearts: some souls are meant to be, and when the time is right, they will find each other.
