Like so many modern love stories, ours began with a dating app. Just two people swiping in the right direction. By all logic, we never should’ve even seen each other’s profiles, but either the app glitched or fate was playing matchmaker, and we’re pretty glad it did!

We spent weeks talking and texting, getting to know each other, until we finally decided to meet in person. For our first date, we went to the Ice Castles in New Hampshire. It was a long drive, but from the moment we got in the car, conversation flowed like we’d known each other forever. By the time we arrived, the stunning ice sculptures were just a bonus.

Since then, our life together has been full of milestones. From moving into our first apartment, adopting our sweet dog Millie, traveling abroad, and eventually buying our first home. The big moments and the little ones have all added up to our favorite story yet.

Colin’s proposal was straight out of a movie. On our way to dinner with friends who were “running late,” we decided to stop by the beach. Right there, with the waves behind us and our best friends secretly snapping photos from a distance, Colin asked the question that would start our next chapter.

And now here we are, ready to celebrate this next adventure surrounded by the people we love most!!
