The first time we met was in the dining hall at Angelo State during our freshman year of college. We had both agreed to eat with some of our mutual friends unknowing that we would each be meeting the person we would marry just 5 years later. We exchanged hellos, and didn't cross paths again for another three years.

My best friend and I loved to watch our friends play flag football. Anytime they had a game or practice, we were there cheering them on. Just like every year before we had made our way to the field for one of their first games. This is where Morgan and I ended up running into each other and eventually exchanged numbers.

Our first date was super simple and sweet. We went to the pumpkin patch with some of our friends and then had dinner afterwards. Little did we know, it was the beginning of our forever.

We knew from the beginning that we had each found the one and we quickly became inseparable. We introduced each other to our family and friends, went on trips, spent time in church together and slowly began planning our future.

Morgan proposed on December 23rd, 2023. The proposal took place in the exact spot my grandfather asked my grandmother to marry him. There are no other words than, it was the most perfect day.
