We can credit part of our story starting because of Jordan & Emily Stanley's love for one another. As best men, Dylan and Andrew had the job of picking a lake for Jordan's last bachelor party bash. Due to fate, Dylan chose Green Lake off of a Wisconsin map. Anyone who knows the Windaus, knows that Green Lake has always and will always be a huge part of our family upbringing and core memories. If the sun is out, we are on Green Lake. This special place soon became OUR special place. It not only became where we met our future spouse, but where we continued to fall in love, and where we got engaged. Over the years we had seen many bachelor and bachelorette parties join the sand bar fun in the sun, but something about this bachelor party created a weekend we will never forget. There are MANY versions out there of this weekend. It started our long distance love story. Although many people that weekend like to take credit for starting our instant connection and love story, the real person we can credit is Gary. Thanks for not listening when I said, "PLEASE do not park the boat in the middle of all those men".
